Tomorrow Is Friday……My Actifit Report Card: March 7 2024
………..and I can’t wait! 😜 Busy as a bee 🐝 I was but fortunately with Donna there, I was able to finish yesterday’s work, verify 2 days worth of insurance and keep up with today’s work. Just having another person to answer the phone, greet patients when they walk in and make phone calls for me, is a tremendous help. She’s getting the hang of inserting lenses into frames and troubleshooting issues. She’s doing well. 😎👍
Tomorrow’s a fully booked day, so I’m sure it will be busy! It will make the day go quickly I imagine. 😁
The new software system has some things I am needing to look into as I’ve not seen incoming checks from those insurance companies that normally pay the doc that way. Makes me think there’s an issue with the software or the type of file it creates when I send the claims electronically. I’m most likely going to have to go in on an off day so I can coordinate some phone calls and figure out just what isn’t working. It’s always something! 🙄

I just happened be having Chinese congee with Shiitake mushrooms, yummy. Better get that software checked out.

I did finally figure out the claim thing. The clearing house can take a zip file, which is what the software created, but everyone along the way from the office software to the clearing house failed to mention it can only take a zip file with one file in it! So, I will have to resubmit each file individually, but it shouldn't bee to bad. Monday is claim fix-it day! I'm just glad I know what it is.
