A Rainy Sunday…….My Actifit Report Card: February 25 2024

It rained…….all night and pretty much into the day. I don’t even recall how many times I was awoken last night to the sound of the rain pounding on the skylight. 🙄

This morning, we went to church. Our pastor is indeed on fire! His sermon was about pausing on the path. You know, those times when you might feel alone or you also could feel God pushing you to do something you may or may not want to do. It was a good insight.

After church, we came home and had a bite of lunch. Then I began a reorganization project I’d not been able to get to due to time constraints. It was good to finally get it done.

Here’s some forest and turkey tail pics. This stuff is everywhere!!

We will work on some music tomorrow and then run a few errands in town. It’s supposed to continue to rain for the rest of the week. I am hoping for some weather like it’s supposed to be in the coming months. You know, highs in the 60’s with low humidity and sunshine! It’s been a few years since we’ve had that.

They are what's called Turkey Tail, which might be considered more of a fungus than a 'shroom. They have some awesome medicinal properties and can be taken accordingly. If you've got the chance to look on youtube, look for Fantastic Fungi as the guy who does most of the hosting of the documentary, talks about Turkey Tail.

Thank you @caleb-marvel! I hope you had a wonderful day at church as well! As I was driving today and could see a big view of the sky from the car, I could feel God's presence in everything I was seeing. It was so comforting!
