Goodness Gracious, Great.......My Actifit Report Card: February 23 2024

Great balls of fire! I’m sure a lot of people might recall that song, but I’m not talking about music here. More on this in a moment.

The first picture is of an old tree up the road from us that is actually 3 trees married at the base. They could have been 3 individual trees or maybe just one that had a couple of branches down low, striving to be a tree. Anyway, it’s pretty massive but it is also loaded with hoof fungus. You might recall this fungus is excellent for starting fires, so the next time you’re fixing to light a campfire, check out your surroundings and look for some of this. 😎👍

Work was good today. Even though we didn’t have a doc, I had Donna come in as I wanted to begin laying the groundwork for helping me with the responsibilities of the whole insurance aspect of what I do. It took about a couple of hours to explain and have her do a claim both in EPM and then on the provider portal for Medicaid. There is a ton of steps combined with her not knowing anything about CTP codes and ICD-10 diagnosis codes, so it was pretty technical. She will get the hang of it but because of the codes and diagnosis codes, she’s got more to digest. I think she’s going to be a great asset and assistant to me.

Once work was done, I headed home and we set out for a hike up the road to the trailhead. This is where the great balls of fire come in. Check out these two sunset photos!
