Thank Goodness……….My Actifit Report Card: January 26 2024

……..it’s F-R-I-D-A-Y!!🥳🥳🥳

Day 2 with my new helper. Donna is doing well. She rarely (at least today) gets for phone calls and she’s doing well with general customer service. I’m teaching her how to adjust frames. It’s kind of a ‘feel’ thing and comes with experience. She’s not adventurous enough yet to try. I’m going to get her a couple of frames to ‘play’ with that don’t matter if she breaks them. That should help her build a little confidence.

I’m also teaching her how to process a Medicaid patient from the standpoint of frame selection and filling out the necessary forms with the prescription and other information on them. Then she passes it off to me. Just having her be able to help the kids in this process will take a chunk of work off me from time to time. Eventually, I may train her how to finish out the process from the submission of the claims, but that’s definitely for later. I don’t want to scare her off lol! 😆

The day was insanely busy and I jokingly (not) asked the doc if he was going to hire another person. 🧐 I’m just glad I will have someone else to help me. ☺️
