An Almost Sunny Day!…..My Actifit Report Card: January 23 2024
It was almost a sunny day! I awoke to clouds and rain. I’d heard it raining all night long as I was awakened for some reason several times last night. First on the docket was ladies Bible study. It was an awesome study on Hebrews chapter four. 😇
After that, I stopped to get the clinic mail and come home. I did some stuff inside and then fixed @silvertop a late lunch. At 3 PM, we set out to hike. Jan had other commitments.
So that first photo was about the only bit of blue sky to be found. All else was grey and angry looking. Three quarters of the way to the off grid cabin, I stopped to snap a picture of the interesting fog that was happening down in the valley.
We’ve been having fog here since the snow and the mid 40 temperatures.
Along the way, despite all the super cold temperatures we’ve had and the snowfall, the ‘shrooms and fungi are still very much alive! Check out the Turkey Tail!

The pond is beginning to thaw and the cattails look so tired!
Last night, once again, Cyle had gotten into his little cubby beside the wood stove. We’ve decided not to burn the firewood that’s there as it would ruin his snuggle pit. 😻
Well, that’s gonna be it for today. Tomorrow’s my first real day of work since the 12th due to last week’s snowstorm! I could get used to this! 😎👍
