Go Long, Honey!…….My Actifit Report Card: January 20 2024

Go long, honey! More on that in a minute. We SLEPT IN! For the first time since I can remember, I had over 8 hours of sleep on my Fitbit! Problem is that by the afternoon, it was apparent that I still needed more. @silvertop was feeling it too. With the snowfall we experienced a lot of stress. Mainly I suppose because I’m wired to give 110% to my job and felt I needed to get there. He is wired the same way, but he doesn’t have outside work and completely understands. So he stressed for me! Plus honestly, the taxes we pay are supposed to include county road maintenance, yet we are almost always forgotten.

We decided we just needed to get out and headed to Costco since it has been over a month since our last trip there. Due to the massive piles of snow that had been plowed, folks were parking any which way you could. Apparently most of our county needed to get out and everyone headed to Costco as well, lol! Inside was crazy! Oftentimes, we’d choose an aisle to go down only to come across a traffic jam and had to sit and wait to progress forward. At one point, I’d lost @silvertop and was in the cheese aisle. I noticed a couple that made me giggle as the husband was making gestures that said ‘go long honey; just throw it over here!’ There were a lot of people in that aisle and she couldn’t get to him or the cart. 😁🤣 Everybody was pretty good natured often encouraging each other to ‘just go for it’ to get through!

After Costco, we headed to our favorite Starbucks to get coffees; it was a BOGO day, so one of our drinks were free! I like free!🤩

My boss texted me early in the day requesting if we happen to go by the clinic, his son who does the website for the clinic, wanted some snowy pic of it. We sent an assortment to him. Here’s one of them we sent.

This next one was a rare and unusual shot of Mt. Baker with the setting sun illuminating the lenticular clouds that surrounded the peak. It was quite stunning.

On another note (literally) 🎵we worked on worship music for the first time since November. It has been too long!!
