We’re Gonna Freeze!…….My Actifit Report Card: January 11 2024
I told Cot NOT to stick his tongue on anything metal today, but did he listen?! 🙀 All kidding aside, it’s COLD!🥶 We went from the balmy mid 40’s to lower 50’s to oh my gosh, where did THIS nor’easter come from? I watched while I was working, the temperature drop from 35 degrees at 8:30 AM steadily all day to where it was a crisp and frosty night at 18 degrees around 5:30 PM! The low for tonight is to be 10 degrees with a windchill factor of minus 20 degrees!🥶🥶🥶🙀🥶🥶🥶 No chance to ease into this, not that you could ease into 20 below. We’ve experienced cold weather when we lived in Gunnison, Colorado at 34 below, but the wind wasn’t anything like we’re having right now. I had to fight to drive the car down the road straight! Crazy!🤪
Work is always busy for me whether there’s a doc or not. Today was no exception. I’m looking forward to tomorrow afternoon!

When I got home, I let Dust and Dust Bunny loose! Here’s Cot’s and Cyle’s reaction. They snapped to attention in stereo.
We have such a blast with the robots and the kitties -great entertainment!

My younger Son finally got home for a late dinner, three hours in grid locked traffic with a black ice alert advisory! I'm glad he's home safe.
So am I! That's scary! I think for the next couple of days, a good book, lots of coffee or tea, and a rip roaring fire is just what we need! Take care and stay safe and warm!🤗💜

I am out of coffee and have digestion issue thanks to lack of Walking cause am always bed ridden due to cold weather wearing a big blanket.
I would not be happy being out of coffee and as for bedridden; just sleeping at night makes it hard in the morning as my arthritis kicks in and makes it painful to move. 😔
