A Little Second Christmas……..My Actifit Report Card: January 6 2024

I have purposefully been holding out. I’ve had a Secret Santa gift under the tree and wanted to wait until well after Christmas to open it. I like Christmas and it goes by too fast, so I had my little second Christmas today! 😁🎁

Upon opening the mailing envelope, I found scrumptious goodies!

There was a bag of Yupper Nuts-mint chocolate covered espresso beans! My Secret Santa must know my habits well! To go along with this was also a fudge pastie. I’ve not had one of these before but if the name is anything to go by, I suspect it’s delicious and would go especially well with on of my mochas! Next is a Yooper Bar of dark chocolate. It would seem my Secret Santa knows my penchant for chocolate as well!

A very cute card that made me chuckle when I read it was included.

Two kitties-one looking for the missing tinsel. Years ago, I had a very petite kitty named Cinders, who always managed to eat tinsel despite our best efforts to make sure none was around! We would have to chase her down to ‘remove the tinsel’. 🙄

Inside, the card reads-Have all the holiday fun you can get away with.

Included with all of these goodies was a very shiny Silver Towne Mint, .999 fine silver bar! Silver Towne Mint is a highly respected mint. They were founded in 1949.

The obverse has the Silver Towne Mint logo on the front and in very, very tiny print, the words ‘.999 Fine Silver’, then a star ⭐️ and the the words ‘One Troy Ounce’. Underneath the Silver Towne Mint name, there is a little prospector guy with his mule and tools.

On the reverse is the words ‘Silver Towne Mint’ and in the middle of that is a pick axe. A very nice specimen! 😎👍

Secret Santa-whoever you are-thank you so much for the lovely shiny and the goodies! The chocolates will be enjoyed and the shiny will remain in my stack. 😁

Cot enjoying the spoils!

Despite the rain today, we did a brief hike to the garden. On the way, we stopped at Grant’s cabin and I found this in full bloom with about 6 blooms in one stage or another on it. I was actually shocked given it’s January!

Those two blooms were the prettiest of the bunch. Don’t know how long they’ll survive as this week is supposed to deposit some snow and freezing temperatures.

And lately, my posts are not complete without one of these…..
