In With A Bang!……My Actifit Report Card: January 1 2024
HAPPY NEW YEAR! How exactly did it get to be 2024? I don’t remember a year flying by as quickly as 2023 has!
We stayed up last night and tuned into Seattle local King-5 TV channel to watch the countdown and celebration at the Space Needle. I took screenshots of the TV as we watched.
There were 500 drones armed with high intensity LED lights being flown by 500 pilots! Talk about an amazing feat of coordination and computer programming!! Check out these next formations all done in flight. We were pretty impressed with the whole thing!

@silvertop gave me a Logia 5 in 1 weather station for Christmas. I’ve been saying for a few years, that I wanted one and wanted to be part of the Weather Underground network. My station, Cedarwood is live and working great! Inside, you see the console.
Outside, up on the roof is the station.
All in all, pretty cool!
We did go for a hike up to the off grid cabin today. I didn’t take any pics but have a couple to share from yesterday’s Bay hike.

It’s been a nice day but unfortunately, I’m feeling the closing in of pressure regarding the software launch day this week. Hope I survive it, lol! Tomorrow, I’m going to ladies Bible study for the first time in over a month because of this software thingy.

Sounds like you've been having a swell time with the software thingy, haha! I believe the launch is going to be a success. That weather station looks cool. Do you kind of use it to predict the weather for your neighbourhood or...? Anyways, wishing you a successful launch!
Thank you so much ngwinndave! New software is always a learning curve and I have to train the other two, so they will get a little baptism by fire, but I'll be there to help them.
As for the weather station; this has been a kind of dream of mine for a few years-about 20 almost! I wanted to have this not just for myself, but also for neighbors and for family that would be interested. Of course, if it helps anyone traveling around the area, that would be a bonus. Our area doesn't really get the same weather as the closest larger city does, not the one a few mile across the Canadian border. So this will give us more accurate details. I'm excited to finally realize that little dream of mine.
