Come Down To The River!…..My Actifit Report Card: December 12 2023
Come down to the river! If you’d seen my post from a couple of weeks ago, you would be anywhere but here! What you see before you in the picture above, was completely flooded with torrential currents you would not want to get caught in. It looks so calm and serene in comparison!
Today started earlier for me as I had an early training call. It went well! 😁 I spent the late morning and early afternoon doing stuff around the house. Around 2 PM, we headed to the post office to mail a package to family and one for my Secret Santa #silvergoldstackers gift to that far, far away place! I have no idea how long it will take to get there. To get tracking, I would have had to pay 3 times what I paid anyway! 😳
While we were out, we headed for riverside park. The pictures I’ll show today are a far cry from two weeks ago! Enjoy!
So much more peaceful and beautiful than two weeks ago!
That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow finds me at the beginning of my workweek. Is it Friday yet? Hehehe 🤣

Oh, it's far from dry; it does have a wide riverbed which parts of are very shallow like where we were. Out in the center of the channel, it runs swift!
