A Gem Of A Day!…..My Actifit Report Card: December 11 2023

I woke early as I had two calls today for the software upgrade. I was kind of nervous about it as I had no answers to two questions that would be deciding factors as to whether or not we proceed after coming so far.

The gal for the first one was someone I’d not encountered thus far. I’m am very glad she was the person I’d been paired up with for this call after we began. She was able to answer the two questions I had and proceeded to show me how to ‘work in the past’ so to speak. Previously, she’d been in insurance billing and knew exactly why it was important. We spent our entire call on these two questions and she said she wanted to schedule another call with me to actually go over what today’s call was to have been about. Of course I said yes, so tomorrow morning is when we plan to do that. I am SO happy that today’s call was with her as she said there were others who probably would have said no, you can’t do that.

As I sat up in the loft at my computer, I looked out the window to notice the Shore Pines sparkling. We were in a cloud with a slight bit of sun poking through and if you look closely, you can see that sunlight refracting through the water droplets on pine needles. It was really pretty!

@silvertop wanted to run to the store in Lynden to purchase something. I wasn’t allowed to go in with him, lol! You know-Christmas and all!🎄🤭

I wanted to stop at Safeway for whipping cream and as we got out of the car to head in, this was the sunset.

Almost heavenly with the sunbeams halo-ing the cloud!

They had a unique reindeer cake inside the bakery counter!

I wonder if the antlers are edible?-Not; they appear to be plastic!

Once home, we headed out for a hike that became a twilight hike. It’s been some time since we’ve done one of those. This pic was obviously taken during the lighter hours.

Jan came with; it’s been at least a couple weeks since we’ve even seen here because of all the rain we’ve been having. It was good to get out for a short hike! Tomorrow looks to be a bit more hiker friendly weather wise. I’ll have a trip to the post office after I’ve completed my 9 AM call. Then we will probably head up the mountain!
