A Snowy Caturday!…….My Actifit Report Card: December 9 2023
A snowy Caturday! I got up earlier than a normal Caturday as I needed to go shopping! Christmas is on the way whether I’m ready or not! So off I set in my trusty Suzuki sleigh! I think it’s appropriate that it’s red in color too!
It was a rainy morning and as I made my way through several stores, the temperature began dropping. As I started making my way towards Lynden for a couple stops, it began snowing and I was seeing cars with an accumulation of snow! My last stop for the day was of course, Starbucks! ☕️😁 I ordered my usual peppermint mocha made with coconut milk and a latte for @silvertop as I was going to take him one home.
I decided to go back through Everson as I knew the closer I got to the mountains, the more snow I was likely to encounter. There’s some pretty steep hills regardless of which way I went home, so I chose the lesser of the two. I do have 4WD which is good. I didn’t have any problems though because the ground is too warm for it to really build up plus the traffic would have taken care of it.

It's slushville here, I thought I was going to stay home and go into cozy mode only to head out to address an issue concerning my Mom. She's all well, met up with my Sis, fix the issues, came home and hit a hot shower before my power went out. What a day.

Hope the cold doesn't affect your health
Generally, I don't over expose. If it's cold and rainy, I do try to avoid that, but when snow is involved, dress warm and if there's enough on the ground, get the snowshoes out! It's a fantastic workout and you are never cold while doing that!
