Rainy Fall Day!.......My Actifit Report Card: October 24 2023
Rainy fall day!
I was awakened sometime in the wee hours of the morning, to the sound of rain pounding the skylight. Looks like the rain they were calling for had arrived! ☔️
I had ladies Bible study and upon arriving at the church, gazed back at Sumas Mountain to see what looked like a bit of frosting at the very tippy top. I looked and looked and looked and decided it was indeed a dusting at the very top! I imagine it was quite a bit colder up there as it was in the lower 40’s in the valley. I suspect when the clouds do finally dissipate, we’ll see snow on the mountain peaks further back into the Cascade Mountains. We are overdue for a freeze thus far!
Hence, this afternoon with the barrage of rain, we opted for a coffee date and a trip to Hobby Lobby! I love to just wander around in there! (Actually, @silvertop doesn’t mind doing the same as there are many photo oops there!)
Christmas is definitely in full swing there!
I will say, the day was definitely conducive to cat-napping!
Cot didn’t seem too lucid when I snapped his picture, lol! 😹
That’s gonna be it for today. Tomorrow begins my 3 day barrage of patients. The doc added a day because of missing last week. No me, myself and I day this week. 😏

Hehe, the rain got here as well but I don't think it'll stay too long.
After tonight, tomorrow should see mostly sunny skies with no rain and then it's clearing and we will get that first freeze I think as they're calling for lows in the low 30's and then a a low of 29 degrees F along about Saturday. Brrrrr! 🥶
