Yes, It's That Time.......My Actifit Report Card: October 19 2023
Yes, it’s that time of year again! There is absolutely nothing like a wood fire in the evening! 😁
It’s been averaging around 64 degrees indoors during the day which isn’t a big deal as I’m at work part of the week or we’re busy and not inside. The quickest way to heat up the house is with a good fire! 😁
Cot was on the couch enjoying it.
Work was kind of reversed or a little like a photographic negative. Normally Thursday is a me, myself and I day. Today because of the doc being sick, the fill in doc had nothing but afternoon appointments. I tried to book some building backwards towards the morning, but could not. He was basically busy the whole time.
I was glad for the day to end. My daughter in law sent a video of the sunset from their house. I snapped a couple screenshots of her video. We don’t see here what she sees there even though they are just over 30 minutes west of us. Enjoy!
That’s it for today. Tomorrow will be a me, myself and I day, again, on a reverse note. We close an hour earlier on Fridays, but because of all the schedule weirdness, I’m likely to forget, lol. I did that once some years ago. 😏

It might be so cold there now.
Maybe cold by your standards because you are used to the tropics. Not really so cold here. The dampness plays more with us right now than cold. That humidity makes it feel colder, hence the reason for the fire at night. I've seen 34 degrees below Fahrenheit before-now that's COLD! 🥶🥶🥶

The sailor's saying went 'red skies at night, sailor's delight; red skies at morning, sailors take warning'. Usually indicative of good weather for the morrow when they were viewed in the evening. However the morning meant rough and stormy weather ahead.
I can say, we didn't have good weather today, but it wasn't bad either. Cloudy with fog and coolish. No rain, so not exceptional but livable!
