The Sentinel.........My Actifit Report Card: October 15 2023

The Sentinel 😸

This is one of two of our neighbor’s cats. I don’t know her name, but it’s obvious she’s in control here, perched on the highest fence post she could find. To the top, it’s about 6 feet up, so she had a bird’s eye view of the comings and goings of the neighborhood.

Our day started out with a worship set of music. I sing and play the keyboard while @silvertop is my guitar man. I run either piano and drums through the keyboard or sometimes I play bass guitar through the keyboard. We are a two person worship team. 😇

Afterwards, @silvertop went to do firewood while I went online to renew my optician’s license. This is never an easy feat as the state of Washington requires two different logons with two different passwords. They are not the same! 🤪🙄. I got it done thankfully. 😅

I had received an email from Lynne stating we could go up to her garden and pick from what was left. So our hike today was up to the garden. Jan and I got carrots, basil, tomatoes, and I got a couple sprigs of kale. It was a nice little haul and very gracious of Lynne to share. 😍

That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow is calling for 90% chance of rain ☔️, so that makes it a shopping day. I’ve got an Amazon return that has to be dropped in Bellingham.

I have never seen mushrooms like that, they are stunning. Regarding the cat, I have one that is like that, he always likes to sit in higher places than him, also sometimes to be close to my face, he is very affectionate.

We have quite the variety here although I imagine most are poison to eat. They sure are pretty, though!

We have 2 kitties and one loves his 6' cat tree where he can sit on the top to survey and he loves to go up in the loft and sit in the window. The other one, does not. His highest surface is the back of the couch or the bathroom sink. Two totally different personalities!
