Pumpkin Season Is Upon Us!..........My Actifit Report Card: September 22 2023

Pumpkin season is upon us! 🎃🎃🎃

I’ve not been shy about letting you know that I love the fall season! Besides not being hot, the fall color begins which also is the onset of pumpkin season! 🎃 Back when we lived in Ohio, on a dead end street that was more conducive to having kids on Halloween, we’d dress up the house, I’d wear my witch’s costume and a few days before trick or treat, you’d find me carving pumpkins. One year that stands out in my memories was when I had 15 jack-o-lanterns 🎃 with 15 different faces, all carved. I think it took me 3-4 days to carve them all.

You might remember me stating yesterday that I found cornstalks at my driveway. Jan had got them from her brother’s garden and delivered. It was nice of her. What I didn’t notice until we went out to tie them to the fence, were the berry branches.

She always gets them for her fall display and shared with me. ☺️

I usually put the cornstalks on each side of the driveway but the lights on the posts are ones that run at a dim light and brighten when they detect motion. With the rain and winds that we get, it might continually brighten and dim or just stay bright all the time! 😏

Anyway, it is nice to come home from work and gaze upon them. 😎

Work was busy as I expected. One bright spot was I got to meet another tribal member who I work with a lot on the phone today. It’s nice to put a face with the voice on the phone. The doc returned my Meta Quest 2 VR headset fully loaded and ready to go. I’m looking forward to tomorrow when I get to try out some of the programs he installed for me. 😁
