Friday Eve..........My Actifit Report Card: August 31 2023

Today was quiet mostly at work, which was good for me. I had tons to do though and I always fall short of what I wish to accomplish. I guess I just expect myself to be Super Woman! 😏

I did get a lot done, but need more time with no patients, no interruptions-no anything but me and the task at hand. I’m going in extra early tomorrow to try to get a jump on it.

The weather has definitely taken a turn to more fall-like temperatures, but summer isn’t done just yet! Tomorrow and Saturday are going to be warm to hot depending on the humidity that comes with it. Then the extended forecast is back to more fall-like temperatures. I like a little nip in the air and the smell of woodsmoke! Nice!

I’m not sure what this is, but I do seem to recall being told the red berries are poisonous. I don’t think the birds even eat them. They are pretty though!

These seem awfully green for fall, but that’s because they are in their baby state. They are snow berries and when they mature, they look like this:

Snow berries are food for the birds during winter and judging by what I’ve seen thus far in the forest, we are going to have a bumper crop! So I wonder if this is an indication of the winter to come? 🧐🤔
