Is It Beginning?........My Actifit Report Card: August 29 2023

Is it beginning?…….

I’d like to think so! With fall looming, it brings mixed blessings. You’re still going to have some warm if not downright hot days, but there is light at the end of the tunnel! The forecast starts to predict lows in the lower 50’s at night and daytime highs mid 60’s to low 70’s. Much more tolerable weather than we’ve been having for sure. That’s a blessing. Then comes the fall harvest and fresh produce associated with this time of year.

However, as time marches on, the daylight hours become less and less. Not good for those who suffer from SAD ( seasonal affective disorder). There are lots of people who also complain about the waning sunlight. I say we should be thankful for the season and also be thankful that they don’t live in the upper Northern Hemisphere where you have almost no sunlight at times! 😁

This morning found me headed to ladies Bible study. It ended up being more of a prayer request time. There is a lot going on in people’s lives right now!

After it was over, a couple quick errands and then home. @silvertop suggested moving our Costco trip up to today since it was raining much needed rain. We set out to go.

Heading towards Bellingham is a feat in mapping your route lately. Someone in the county planning commission decided to shut down 2 major arteries into it. That leaves us with no alternative but to head northwest to Lynden and shoot down Guide Meridian. Way out of the way and of course, you go home the same way. Ugh!

At Costco, I found this!

Seriously guys?! We are still in August!!

Then we headed to Starbucks to get coffees and to purchase a gift card for Agi as her birthday 🥳 is Saturday. I’m also sending another gift I’ll order that will be sent directly to her. 😁

Once home, I went out to add to step count and get some pics as it rained!
