No More Smoke!........My Actifit Report Card: August 22 2023

No more smoke!

We awoke to mostly cloudy skies this morning with patches of blue now and again. It took a moment for me to realize the smoke was gone. I asked Alexa what the current air quality was, and she responded with 29! Yippee! That meant a hike in the afternoon!

First things first though. I went to ladies Bible study. It was a good study and a good time of fellowship. I’ve been missing it. 😇 Afterwards, a quick run to the post office for the clinic mail and then home. On the drive home, I noticed the green of the fir, pine and cedar trees. Everything looks different when the smoke goes away. It makes you appreciate the view more.

Mid afternoon, we set out. Jan came with. It’s been forever since we’ve hiked together! We headed up to the off grid cabin. On the way up, the sunlight was playing peek-a-boo through the tree canopy.

It was a good hike and lovely weather to do it in. Our high today was just 72 degrees compared to the 90+ we’ve been having. A refreshing change! 😎

Last night, after dark, I happened upon Cyle asleep snuggled up to of all things, the patio door. Kind of odd, but then he can be a bit quirky,lol! 😹

Tomorrow’s my Monday and it’s sure to be a busy one.
