A Giant Tree "Shroom!.......My Actifit Report Card: July 18 2023
This tree is on the side of the road near the Gold Mine Trail. If you look closely, you can see a giant mushroom on the trunk! It’s not a real mushroom, but the shape of the lichen sure looks like one, lol!
Today has not been a super good day for me. I woke up with a headache I still have and my body in pretty intense pain-mostly centered in my hips , legs and feet. Not fun!
I set out for ladies Bible study which was nice. Due to holidays and whatnot, I’d not been there since the 20th of June. It was nice to fellowship with the ladies again.
Afterwards, I finally made it to the car wash to get the dust and grime off of the car and a fresh coat of wax on it. It shines!
Despite the pain I’ve had today, we set out for a hike to the cabin and back. For a short while, I was pain free except for the headache.
Here’s some eye candy from yesterday and today.
Tomorrow begins my workweek, but the doc is out of town for the next 2 weeks. I have a fill in doc on Thursday and then my regular doc the following Friday but on a late start schedule. It should be a nice two weeks!

Thanks sis! Well, actually......I don't get vacation. Unfortunately, if I'm under the weather, like I am now, I can't even stay home. There is nobody who does what I do. On a hopeful note though; he did ask me if I could use a helper on Thursday's for half a day as I've been selling lots of glasses on that day, when I'm by myself. It's great and everything, but it cuts into my paper work and claim chasing time. A helper to run front desk interference, would be awesome. I'll have to wait until he gets back to see if there's any follow through.
