Takin' It Slow.......My Actifit Report Card: June 21 2023

(Edited)

Takin’ it slow….and easy!

Although that’s how I would have loved to see the day, it wasn’t, although in comparison to previous days, it seemed like it! I have been the least stressed that I have been in a long, long time! 😎 I’m not really sure why, but I’ll take it and pray for more like today, in the days to come! 😁

Today is also the longest day of the year, so all you night owls get ready to party! 🦉 It’s all downhill from here as the daylight slowly dwindles down! However don’t worry as it will be Christmas before you know it and we will have then, passed the shortest day of the year! 😁😁😁

Here’s some eye candy from previous hikes.

It rained today despite the forecast stating it wouldn’t. Seems like ‘round here, they just can’t predict the weather. I use the old fashioned method-look outside! 🤣 It’s much more accurate! 😁

That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and enjoy! 🙏🇺🇦

👣🐑☕️🦉☔️🐌😎👍😁🥱😴

Well, as much as one can at work! It was pleasant and not overly rushed which is a far cry from how it's been lately.

Take care my friend! !LADY

The only thing i recognize here is the the water snail and mushrooms maybe because we have those here, that one that has spikes all over whats the actual name called? Is that the eatable mushroom

The second pic is of a thistle plant; a very prickly weed. I think it's related to the artichoke.(I think)

The 4th picture is of Oregon Grape; known for the blue like small grape clusters that appear after it blooms. My understanding is they are edible, but I have never tried them. I also understand that the root has medicinal properties and could be worth something. It grows massively wild here.

As for the mushrooms, I do not believe they are edible.

Thank you for stopping by and inquiring! Take care and have a lovely day! !LADY

Nice to hear you have less stress nowadays. Happy for you.
That snail seems ready to destroy plants. Lol

These snails focus more on the gravel looking for limestone to build their shells. I don't know that I've seen them destroy any plants. Now, on the other hand, slugs are an entirely different matter!
