Once Again.........My Actifit Report Card: June 15 2023

Once again……it is Friday Eve!😎👍 That makes tomorrow Friday which I am sure everybody is anticipating!

It was a quiet and productive day for me at the clinic. I had a first timer in the afternoon. Now there’s always different types of first timer’s and today’s was no exception! However, she was one type I’ve not encountered before. There are the folks who are ‘hit and run’ first timers-always trying to put the contact lens in by quickly slamming it into the eye and getting their finger out of there before the eye realizes it’s in there! It never works though as the contact stays with the finger!

Then there’s the ‘blinker’. No matter how hard they try, they flutter the eyelids as a reflex reaction; and the folks who are afraid to get too close with their finger and expect that contact to jump off their finger into their eye! Which brings me to today’s gal. Similar to the ‘hit and run’, she was the ‘ smash and run’. It’s hard to explain but she would kind of smash it in her eye and then yank her finger out fast!

Now before you say I’m poking fun-I’m not. I have been in their shoes many years ago. I was a blinker type. It’s harder for about 80% of the people to get those little discs in their eyes than it looks and even harder to get them out! Then there are those who have no issues. I can say I have a 99.9% success rate in my training methods. 😎👍
