Glamping-Day Two

We slept last night on the blowup mattress/bed and will again tonight letting more evaporation happen. There was a lot of water in the safety liner. Having the bed heated will also help. Our new waterbed mattress and accessories should arrive between Friday and Monday. Hoping it’s Friday or Saturday so we can tear down and set up with no rush.

We slept in way later than anticipated but I think it was needed. It did however, cause a late start to the day.

@silvertop headed outdoors to do some lawnmower maintenance and I worked on some indoor things. I needed to do continuing education for my optician’s license and wanted to get one of the courses out of the way. I have until my birthday in November to complete 10 credits. I’ve got two done and a third ready to read and test on. This year, I am not going to try to get them all at the last minute as I have done in the past.

Just @silvertop and myself went on a hike today as Jan had other commitments. We decided to hike the road as a distant neighbor has recently put up a farm stand and we wanted a closer look. See @silvertop’s post for the photos. It was a nicely done stand housing only eggs at the present time.

Here’s some of the eye candy I found along the way.

This columbine is growing on the side of the road like the other one we dug up last year. I told @silvertop it would make a great Mother’s Day gift-hint, hint, wink, 😉

Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day. I’m hoping to get some things done outside.
