What happened to spring? The first pic is snake grass just popping up close to our home. This stuff always intrigues me for some reason. Then, this late afternoon…….
Nothing like springtime in the mountains! I thought we were beyond this.
The day started out normal enough. Church was first. Our retired pastor gave the sermon. It was nice to hear him preach again. We ended up unexpectedly running sound.
Once home, I set about roasting coffee for a customer as well as ourselves, while @silvertop had some computer things to do.
It’s been a rainy day up to this point and then the snow began. I personally think Cot and Cyle have the right idea!
I think a little TV and dinner will round out this laid back Sunday. That’s gonna be it for now. Take care; have a blessed evening and week ahead. Please continue to pray for 🇺🇦

Hey there sis, @leo-fairy! We have two table top commercial roasters that roast one pound each per cycle. No coffee shop. At one time, we had a dream of a drive through coffee shop, but I'm glad it never did pan out. Businesses like that end up working you to death! You have to open around 5 AM and close around 6PM and that's just too long. If you hire anyone to help, it often eats your profits.
Instead, we choose to roast for friends and family. I also have about 3 long time customers who regularly order coffee. The 4 pounds from today's roast are headed to Rhode Island, on the eastern seaboard of the US. I also roasted four pounds for us. My customers provide enough revenue to pay for the orders of green coffee beans. Me and @silvertop are so spoiled by the freshness of roasting, that it's nearly impossible to purchase 'already been roasted elsewhere' coffee, lol!

It sounds like you told me about the coffee business but my bad I forgot! I can remember the same question about coffee shop I asked at the beginning when we met here in hive.
I wish your business may run successfully even its limited to friends and family. Its true that hiring others is risky and working schedule for running a shop really sucks.

Indoor hiking can be hazardous! We often run into each other in the doorways, lol!😂😂 It can also be a test of how coordinated you are in moving around items, furniture, doorways in the house. Sometimes, I've clipped the door jam many a time in some of my greater moments of grace.
