HAPPY CATURDAY!.......My Actifit Report Card: April 1 2023

HAPPY CATURDAY! 😻😸

Yes, it’s Saturday, which translates into Caturday! A day of celebration for all kitties around the world. Here’s Cot enjoying his cat tree.

He enjoyed basking in the afternoon sunbeams. Sunbeams?! Wait a minute! Weren’t they calling for nothing but rain? Yes they were but that’s not at all how it turned out.

We slept in super late as we stayed up way too late last night! Once up, showered and coffee-ed, @silvertop said we needed to head to Home Depot as he needed som OSB board and a couple of pieces of dimensional lumber. I was thinking-great opportunity for me and the garden center! 😄

As we were leaving, it started raining. First stop was the clinic to verify the insurance for Monday’s DSHS kids appointments. An hour later, I was done, the rain had stopped and we set out for the store.

It was simply beautiful as you can see from the picture at Home Depot’s parking lot. I was so busy snooping for plants, I failed to snap any pics but the place was in glorious bloom. When we finished there, we paid a visit to the Wood’s coffee shop for refreshments. ☕️😁

After getting home and offloading our treasures, I text Jan to see if she was around for a hike up the hill. She was and off we went. I had put on my backpack for the hike as @actifit-lamb was along for the ride!

It was community tree decorating day and she had a vested interest! She wanted to help decorate!

She enjoyed herself immensely, especially playing with the eggs!

We saw a couple of deer in a neighbor’s yard.

As we got closer to home, we noticed in Joan’s little library, that her husband had put up the invite to the celebration of her life. You may remember that she died before Christmas-the first of 2 of our neighbors to pass in less than 5 months apart. I really miss her! She always had a smile for you and always was joyful. We’d often pass her while hiking and she loved the community tree as well. She enjoyed the decorations. Gone too soon. 🥺

That’s gonna be it for now. It’ll soon be time for dinner. ( we will have probably eaten by the time I post this, lol)
