So Much And Too Little!....My Actifit Report Card: January 16 2023
So much to do and so little time to do it in! Ever notice how this sums up life today? I’m feeling it as I’m sure many of you do as well. I have gosh-random number pick-let’s say 100 things, tasks, chores or just fun things I either need to do or would like to do. No matter how hard I try, some just don’t happen! Will I ever have enough time? Probably not!
Today was shopping day. First however, we needed to run the Christmas presents from our youngest son to our oldest son. We picked the gifts up a little over a week ago when we were in North Bend visiting. Then it was off to Costco.
I was kind of shocked a bit by the substantial increases in cost of goods. I jokingly made the comment that just about everything I needed was a $20 dollar bill! That adds up quickly! $200 plus dollars later found us headed to Walmart where once again, we were met with higher prices and some empty side counters with no product available!😳 Ironically enough, we could have gone to two more stores, but I was really tired and just did not have the energy! We came home instead.
Then of course, you have to unload the car. 🙄
We decided a short hike was needed and set out. Jan didn’t respond to my text, so we went without her. I found out later she had fallen asleep.
‘Tis the season for moss! This time of year here in the Pacific Northwest is moss season! It becomes so lush and green-like green velvet!
I’ll be taking more moss phots in the coming days as my schedule allows as well as the weather.
Later this evening, Cyle kitty was very relaxed on the back of the couch.
The real question is-Cyle, how do you keep your white fur so white?
And here, his look is saying ‘just why are you bothering me?'

That was a very busy day you had. This price hike is everywhere now, most times the price in budget gets doubled in reality.

Thank you @hivedeb! Inflation is running amuck for sure and I think it will get worse before it gets better. I know it's a global thing as well. Maybe if we all stop buying products, the companies will have to reduce the cost, but I suspect not.
