Be Careful What You Wish For........My Actifit Report Card: December 20 2022

Hey everybody and thanks 🙏 for stopping by! 😁🥶🧊❄️☃️😁

Be careful what you wish for!! I have been viewing some actifit posts with beautiful 🤩 and heavy snowfall lately, wishing it looked that way here! Well, I woke up this morning to 10” of the white stuff and every window in the house looking like that first picture. It was as if someone had had a giant snowball fight with our house and the house lost! 🙀☃️❄️

In all the years we’ve lived here, never has the outside walls of the house looked like this! @silvertop headed out to get more firewood 🪵 only to find it all blanketed as well. The solution? Get out the leaf blower and blast the woodpile as well as the house and my car! The snow was powder as it was a balmy 10 degrees outside. That’s another thing-rarely does it snow here when it’s THAT cold! 🧐❄️❄️❄️

Fortunately for me, it was an ‘off’ day from work. Tomorrow however, isn’t. @silvertop made a trek down to the road our road is off of, to asses the road conditions. It wasn’t good. He wanted me to take a look but I wanted to late until later in the day to give those people who were fearless (or foolish) enough to go out, to make some tracks and see how it was afterwards.

I was in the process of a Christmas wrapping marathon!! I personally think wrapping presents 🎁 should be considered a type of workout!! Especially when you have that gift that’s almost too big to wrap and requires gymnastics to get it done! 🙄🎁

We went out around 2 pm for a snowy excursion. Here’s some pics.

As you can see, it’s quite the winter wonderland! It is beautiful! 🤩🤩🤩

Tomorrow is up in the air about work. It’s unlikely we will see a snowplow anytime soon. I noticed the couple of people who ventured out were scraping the snow with the undercarriage of their 4WD pickup! Those type vehicles have a pretty high clearance! My car is a tank I’ll grant you, but whereas it’s a 4WD Suzuki SX4 Crossover, it’s higher than a car but not as high as others. It would most definitely drag belly in this snowfall. I prefer not to damage it. At this point, I figure it’s a 70% chance of no work for me. 😔 I don’t like not going when I know it’s a work day. I guess I’m weird that way and if I stay home, I will feel guilty until mid to late afternoon about it.

More marathon Christmas wrapping to yet do. It’s also up in the air about going to our son’s house Friday as they are calling for 90% snow both here and there! If it actually happens, then that could blow our plans. Again, we will have to wait and see.

That’s gonna be it for now. The next few days are headed for lows in single digits, so the snow isn’t leaving anytime soon!❄️☃️
