New Stuff!.......My Actifit Report Card: December 1 2022

As you can see from the first photo, the town I work in has put its snowflakes on for the season. Every light pole has a snowflake. That’s probably close to 3 dozen or more for the whole town. When we first moved here over 20 years ago, they lit a town tree, 🎄 but they stopped that quite some time ago. I wish they’d do more decorations and the tree again, but it still looks nice.
Work was a ‘me myself and I’ day. I had a frame rep at opening which took about an hour. I spent time between that and the mandatory insurance training, working on tomorrow’s patients; their insurance verifications and reminder calls. I also started work on some new stuff!
I ordered frames from a lab in Spokane and they were gracious enough to send a spinning display for them. I have more to finish logging into the system , but got about 70% of them logged and displayed.
This nice selection retails mainly at $99, with some at $59 and the Native Visions at$169 and Native Pride at $109. The lab does an excellent job with lenses and the turnaround is 5-7 business days-sometimes quicker! I am pleased with them.
Tomorrow is Friday and it’s a fully booked day! I will be busy! Yana joins me in the fun for the day.

I hang on to my old glasses simply because they are somewhat sill useable (the RX part) and if they aren't, when I need new lenses, then I can reuse the frame. I have been fortunate that I have received comped sets of glasses. Someday in the future, after I retire, I will miss those freebies as the type I need are expensive.
Besides, the frames might be out of style now.......but just wait......they will come back in style. Plus, if you find someone who really needs a frame but can't afford one, you might could gift them with the opportunity at a good frame. It just depends. Love ya much!🤗😘💞
