Sights and Sounds..............My Actifit Report Card: November 20 2022
Hey there and thanks ๐ for stopping by today! ๐๐๐
We started our day off at church โช๏ธ this morning. When it was time to start the service, I told the story of Phoenix and practice this week. About her barking and wanting to attack @silvertopโs guitar. So at the end of the story, I invited anyone who wanted to โbarkโ to do so, so weโd feel right at home. The congregation complied-it was quite funny! They have a sense of humor! ๐๐๐
The music ๐ถ went well and the sermon was good. It was a good morning!
Just before church โช๏ธ my phone was blowing up with texts, pics and short videos from Hungary ๐ญ๐บ. Iโll share some with you.
Iโve never been to Hungary ๐ญ๐บ and would love to someday go. Beautiful country! ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ
We headed out for a hike this afternoon. Jan came with.
Phoenix does well on the hike even with her little short doggie ๐ถ legs!
@silvertop had to pick her up once because of an approaching dog. We didnโt want any battles!
Something spooked her later and she began to bark. Her hackles went up and by this picture, you can why the call a Rhodesian Ridgeback such.
She is such an interesting little doggie! ๐ถ๐ฅฐ
Thatโs gonna be it for now. Tomorrow will find me headed to work. Thereโs a funeral for a little 18 month old who just passed away last week from brain cancer. Much too young! Please pray for his mom and dad as they do what you should never have to do-bury their child. There are close family ties to my employer, hence the reason I will be working-to hold down the fort.
Take care and have a good night. Please continue to ๐ for ๐บ๐ฆ

Wow, I've missed a few beats since I last checked in on your blog, @elizabethbit! You got a dog? Are you fostering her? I've never seen a Rhodesian Ridgeback with short legs. She must be an interesting mix.
So sad about the family that lost their baby to brain cancer. How very sad and tragic!
Hi @jayna! We are baby sitting/dog sitting for our son and his wife. This little doggie is a very unusual breed as she is half Rhodesian Ridgeback and half Dachshund! Stocky, muscle laden Dachshund with the ridge along her back and the head of the Ridgeback! She was a rescue dog and my son was told if he returned her, she would be put down. He doesn't give up easily; she had severe separation anxiety issues and behavioral issues as well, but through diligence and training, he turned her around. She did whine after them for about the first 3 hours they were gone, but now, she's fine. They come back from Hungary next Sunday and will come pick her up. I might not want to give her back, lol! Just kidding; I will, but I am going to miss her little doggie presence!
It is very sad; the mother is currently pregnant as well. I cannot begin to imagine the emotional pain she must be going through!
Thanks for stopping by @jayna, and have a lovely week!
Ahh! Thank you for the catch-up, @elizabethbit. I have not been visiting Actifitters' blogs much for the last month and a half since I broke my foot.
That's great that you can dog sit, and that she warmed up to you!
Truly sad about the family that lost the baby. With one on the way, I hope that brings them some hope and joy.
I haven't gotten around much either! How did you break your foot?!
I wonder, with the baby, if the stress she has endured, is harmful? I do know she has not gone to the OB/GEN doc up to this point because of staying at the hospital with her little baby boy. So tragic and sad.
Thanks for stopping by and take care!

Thank you for your kind words! Take care and have a lovely day!
Thanks
Wow, Phoenix is all muscle.
Pretty soon, you'd want a dog too.
Phoenix is so adorable!!!
Your whole congregation went barking... hahaha.
It was pretty funny, lol! It wasn't just the kids either! It was the adults barking as well! It will make me smile for a long time to come!
Phoenix is adorable for sure! I just realized last night, that we have one more week with her and then they come back and take my baby! It made me sad๐
I could always hide her, I guess, lol! Take care sis; love ya much!๐ค๐๐๐ธ !LADY

Hungary looks beautiful.
Phoenix got a nice coat!
It does look pretty there for sure!
Yeah. You've been there in Budapest for sure?
No, I've never been to Hungary or anywhere overseas........yet.
Oh yeah. I forgot you already told me. Hopefully you'll be able to visit Hungary someday.
