The Toilet Went Crazy!.............My Actifit Report Card: August 25 2022

It turned out to be a nice day in the end but didn’t start out so nice. 😳
As I was washing my hands after flushing the toilet 🚽 at work, I instantly knew something was off! I heard a LOT of water running and in looking 👀 to see where the sound was coming from, discovered water 💦 pouring out from somewhere! 🙀 Upon closer inspection, I was happy to see that the waterline under the toilet 🚽 was okay, so the problem must be in the tank. I started to take the tank lid off only to find a wriggling garden hose! So with one hand trying to take the lid off ( too much weight for one hand really) and the other trying to grab the hose, we’ll I’m sure it would have made a great comic scene! Finally without dropping the lid I wrestled it off and was able to gain control of the hose. Instinctively, I stuck it in the tall pipe and once the water level hit a certain point, the water stopped. I pushed the clip on that pipe and then assessed the damage! About 2 gallons of water was everywhere! On the floor, on the walls-even on a decorative table at the other end of the bathroom (it’s a larger than normal size room). I got paper towels and began mopping up. I got everything dry and then attempted to flush it just to see what happened. Needless to say, I didn’t trust it and for the better part of the day, would remove the lid just to make sure that evil hose didn’t break free! I was just a little traumatized! A shower at home before going to work and then a second one there! 🤣😂😅🤪
The balance of the day was much nicer! After a frame rep and a first timer, I got many new frames data entered into the computer 💻 including the new Native Visions and Native Pride lines.
These eyeglass frames are designed by Native Artisans here in Washington state. I was impressed with the quality of the frames and the designs are exceptional!
This company is also a full service lab so I am looking forward to doing business with them.

At least this was just water from the tank and not the bowl. It could have been so much worse, but fortunately, I'm versed in some home repair as @silvertop and myself have done a lot of it over the years. Thanks for stopping by! !LADY

Very stressful to be in such a situation, but the good thing is that you were able to bring it under control.

It was a bit crazy for sure, and today, the first thing I did was take the tank lid off and flush the toilet just to make sure it behaved. I might be doing that for a while to come, lol!
I really enjoy my job as I get to help so many people see their world. It's very rewarding. I also enjoy being able to choose the frames for the clinic. It's nice that the doctor lets me purchase what I think we need. He really gives very little input which is nice that he trusts me to make the right choices.

prudence, endurance and passion. You get to meet different people with different attitudes, sometimes unfriendly ones 😆
No kidding! I've actually been threatened before over a billing issue. Fortunately, the man never came to the clinic as he said he was going to. All of this took place over the phone. Craziness! Take care!

I've forgotten the name, but they are a relative of the sunflower. Their bloom is only a little over 1/4" wide. They grow in clusters.
As for the frames-there are two price points on these; $169 and $109, so not too bad. Yes, you can put 'plano' (ie-no correction) lenses in them, so a definite possibility for those who just want sunglasses without correction or for wearing over contacts.
I will be checking that toilet hose daily for a while, I suspect! Crazy! Love ya sis!😘🤗🌸💕
