Today dawned sunny ☀️ as promised by the weatherman. As we headed to church ⛪️ I noticed a haze settling into the valley. A promise of the heat to come for the next few days.
Our retired pastor Carl, did the sermon today. We’re not sure about where Chad was. It was nice to hear him preach. 😎👍
When the service was over, we headed for home to grab a bite and then to the store as I mentioned yesterday. As I observed people while we shopped, part of Carl’s sermon came to mind. He said that we are living in a world of very unhappy people. I’ve noticed the same thing and was recently thinking about that. That’s when I heard “choose joy”. No matter our circumstance, whether good, bad, happy or sad, we need to choose to be joyful. It’s hard to reprogram our minds to that possibly, but if you do, you will find you are much happier. Yes hard times are hard, and sometimes it seems like there is no way out, but choose joy-look around at all the beauty there is around you. It’s there-you might just have to look for it. ☺️😇
We went to 4 stores in all and finished up our shopping 🛒.
It was hot 🥵 enough for me today, and tomorrow is going to be hotter and Tuesday, hotter yet! 🥵🥵🥵 I don’t much care for the heat!
That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and keep cool 🥶 I know I will try. The air conditioner is a good friend! Please continue to pray for Ukraine 🇺🇦
