My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2022🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

After getting up and doing a bit of blogging, I headed out to do a bit of gardening 👩🌾 The day was a bit of a mixed bag weather wise and a bit on the chilly side as well. I planted some violas, grabbed my strawberry 🍓 planter and moved it to a better location, and planted the Wisteria seeds I’d collected from a huge Wisteria plant at a neighbor’s this spring and watered it all. I put out some slug bait to deter the other vermin. Then it was off to play pickle ball!
I stumbled on a company that invited me to try out products and do reviews on them. I’ve tested many lavalier microphones, star projectors and this time, a set of pickle ball racquets that came with 2 balls each- indoor ones and outdoor ones, all in a nice carry case.
We spent over 2 hours playing! I used to play tennis 🎾 for fun when I was a teenager. That was a long time ago. I’d stopped playing as life happened, but too, the tennis 🎾 racquets were heavier then and it was hurting my elbow quite a bit. Pickle ball racquets are smaller and lighter and I didn’t hurt from backhanding a volleyed ball! We had a ton of fun for sure and I’d recommend trying this for everybody!

We then headed out to Lynden to get a mocha frappe. We’d earned it for sure!
Once home we met up with Jan for a hike up to the off grid cabin. It was a nice hike!
Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, so Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there! 💐

Seems like you had a wonderful day with play and gradening. Do you have the strawberry plant in your garden? Does it give fruits?
It is in a strawberry planter; a pot with multiple holes in it for the plants to grow out of. It did last year; we shall see for this year. It's still a bit cool here, and up and down the road when we are hiking, all of my neighbors are saying their gardens are not growing. We are about 2+ weeks behind the valley. It will eventually catch up with us, lol! Take care and have a lovely week!💜🤗

I used to play tennis too.
It was my sport in college, along with show jumping.
I abandoned (or rather no longer do it anymore) the sports!
