My Actifit Report Card: March 19 2022🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

In staying up late last night and on the backside of my workweek, it resulted in the latest I’ve EVER slept in in years! Talk about being a slug 🐌
Once I did finally get up and had a shower, I needed coffee!☕️☕️☕️ Then I began sorting through some clothing; looking to thin it down some and get the donations separated. I also started some laundry.
Jan had other commitments for the day, so we were debating going for a hike or, setting up so @silvertop could switch out the studded snow ❄️ tires 🛞 for the regular street tires. In the end, we opted to do that as they had to be removed, by law, April 1st, and the weather wasn’t going to cooperate. We had an unexpected sunny ☀️ spot, so that’s what we did. Once they were switched out, we were going to opt for a short hike.
Just as I’d gotten my two fleeces on, the sky turned to a menacing grey color; dark and ominous. Then, I heard ‘ker-plunk’ slowly increasing in speed.
Notice the little white streaks? Then this happened!
It continued on almost giving the ground the appearance of the snow this onslaught started with. Check out the skylight!
So much for those daffodils from yesterday’s post! I blame this on the fact we took off the snow ❄️ tires 🛞 lol 🤣 It’s ALL @silvertop’s fault! 😁😁😁
Ironically, the sun 🌞 is shining as I type this. Just today, we’ve had rain 🌧 sleet, hail and snow ❄️ plus sunshine ☀️ at least 3-4 different times! Can you say springtime? One thing for sure-it’ll keep you on your toes!
Needless to say, we never made the hike🥾 It would have been the equivalent of have big, heavy wet ice balls dropped on us and neither one of us were that adventurous!
Maybe tomorrow? Maybe not as it’s supposed to have a 80% chance of rain beginning tonight and going through the entire day tomorrow. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. 👀

The weather yesterday was so silly! Rain, hail, sun… snow for you. I guess that is how spring rolls, but I am ready for weeks of 70F sunny days!

Hi @dfinney! Sleeping in is good, but then, most of the day is gone when you finally get up. It's a trade off for sure!
It was crazy weather, and I hear ya sister! I'm ready for 70 degree days with low humidity and a light breeze! Bring it on!

Over sleeping is great but then the day is pretty much gone. So, it definitely has it's trade off's. Rain to snow.......not so much fun for now, but it didn't last and it pretty much melted right away. Springtime in the mountains is always unsettled. Take care sis!🤗😘💖🌸
