My Actifit Report Card: November 6 2021
Hey there everybody and thanks for stopping by!
With no real agenda for the day and it being Saturday as well, I slept in until about 9:30 this morning. Sleeping in is a double edged sword for me; on the one hand, I get some much needed sleep; on the other hand, I’ve slept part of the day away! Alas, the sleep won out.
After fixing a coffee, I sat and read for a bit. I love to read; always have since I was in the 5th grade, so I can easily wile away hours reading. Once I’d had some chapters done, I added the phantom wallet to my computer. I’m entering into another crypto project; more on that later IF it works out.
Jan had prior commitments so it was just us for the hike. After raining buckets all morning, the wind kicked up and blew in clouds without rain. It was chilly as we set out. After last weekend hiking the entire trail 2 days in a row, I knew that repeating that again was going to hurt me. This darn back is still not happy. So in order to keep hiking without making it worse, I opted for longer than the evening hikes, but shorter than the whole thing. That put me up at the off grid cabin, so as @silvertop did the loop around the cabin, I headed up the hill to the seasonal tree we decorate, and removed the Halloween decorations. I’ve got the Christmas ones ready to go, but Jan and I traditionally decorate together, plus I figure maybe waiting until the middle of November to do it. Maybe the weather will be improved by then.
I bid @silvertop farewell, and headed back down as he continued onward. On the way down, I started looking at all the leaves on the ground. I’ll share some interesting specimens with you.
As the evening is upon me, blessings to all who visit 🙏😇
