My Actifit Report Card: September 5 2021

Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!

Well, it seems my day was to start off with semi disasters. I went to take a shower only to have the door come off the hinges completely! The hinge broke so no fixing. Fortunately I had a good grasp on it as it’s glass and heavy and could have ended very differently.

So off to church we went. Just as we got inside, my phone was vibrating indicating an incoming call. Oh no, it’s Jamie, who was on for sound today! So I answered and he says we’ve got a problem! Then he realized I was in the coffee hour area and I realized when I turned around, I could see him. We hung up and I headed to meet him. There are two very slight steps to get into the sanctuary and wouldn’t you know, I managed to overstep the first one to land on the second one and then my nurses clogs which are a platform type clog, slide off of the carpeted step and down I went!🙀 I caught myself before I fell all the way, but oh boy was my left ankle NOT happy!! I took my shoes off and headed for Jamie after sitting to make sure I hadn’t broken it. He had hit ‘do not allow’ on the iPad which to run the sound system wirelessly, rendered the iPad useless undocked. So unfortunately most of my church time was spent mulling over in my mind how to fix this. The long and short of it-I deleted the app off the iPad after church was over and put it back on. Then after redocking the iPad it didn’t work, we shut the whole thing down and rebooted. Hallelujah, it worked!!😎👍. Thank the good Lord!

We came home and @silvertop did some trading before we had to go to the store to try to find a new shower door. We could only find one at Home Depot, none at Lowe’s, so Amazon, here we come. I already know they have one that comes complete and is more to our liking and is the same price as what we would have settled for from Home Depot. May as well get what we want!😁

We purchased a shower curtain, rod and rings to get us by until we finalize our purchase and it arrives. What a day!!

We got home and headed out for a short hike.

Some fall color-the vine maples look promising for brilliant fall color this year. 🍁🍂

Between the miners tech issues yesterday, today’s shower fiasco, church tech issues- quite frankly, I think I’m done! Tomorrow, we head for a country produce stand with tons of pumpkins 🎃!! @actifit-lamb can’t wait!
