My Actifit Report Card: September 1 2021
Hey there! I hope you had a great day!
Wednesday morning is my Monday morning at work. This week the doc is here all 3 days that I work. I went in with the intention of getting all insurance verified for the week. It wasn’t too far into that task however, that I soon discovered that ‘quickly’ was not going to happen. Apparently one of the Medicaid insurances must be up for renewal of her contract with their administrative service. Consequently all of those patients with that insurance cannot be issued authorizations to obtain services. So it threw quite the wrench into today’s plans! In a nutshell, it could take 24 to 72 hours before they get the situation fixed. Consequently, I had to call 35% of the day’s patients and 50% of tomorrow’s patients to let them know what was going on and reschedule. Talk about a nightmare! I will check with the insurance company tomorrow to see if things have been fixed in order to possibly avoid having to cancel 50% or more of Friday’s patients as well.
Once I got home it was very apparent that Mike was having a wonderful day with a pick up truck! Not! It’s got brake light issues and it doesn’t appear to be an easy fix. Given that combined with the fact that I needed to roast coffee for a customer, I called off the hike for today.

Purple happens to be my favorite color! I had a nice violet purple room as a kid. I'm actually wearing a purple shirt as I type, lol! What can I say; I like purple! Take care and enjoy the weekend as well!
