"The Most Foolish Fools" - A Story in 100 Words

The market had seen better days. No. Understatements like that were worse than lies. They offered a glimmer of hope in a situation that was clearly, utterly hopeless. That was the kind of 'hope' that led folks to double down and pour good money after bad because their minds simply had no way to process what was happening. The words "dot com" might as well have had four letters.

How could something so right go so very wrong? It was the 90's, the FUTURE. Would anyone ever bother doing business over the internet again? Only the most foolish of fools...

The word 'bubble' gets tossed around a lot when it comes to cryptocurrencies but the world has seen other bubbles and what's important to note anytime one pops is what survives. Of course, I'm not a financial advisor so that can only be taken as my opinion. But think about it...🤔

Anyway, the random words today's story was based on were 'market' and 'helpless'. What's that? The word 'helpless' doesn't occur anywhere in this story? Yeah...I misread it as 'hopeless' for some reason so that word got included instead. Miskates happen ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
