The Chief: CCC Streetart Contest #103 Entry

It's always good to find cool contests here on Hive. It's especially great when I realize that I have photos that actually work for the contest!

These were taken at the 1904 Music Hall in Jacksonville, FL back in May.

I decided to do extreme closeups because I liked the way the bricks looked. Then I decided to do a couple more shots with my Helios 44-2 lens. They are a bit blurrier but I like the way they came out too.

Unfortunately, the venue has been changed and now there is a spicy tequila sponsorship that has taken over the place. They painted over these murals with this:

Kinda lame if you ask me. Oh well, at least I got a record of them before they went.
