Broken Window
Perhaps in the chaos I'll find some reason to stay alive. Perhaps I'll know why it's all this way and not that. It was never meant to be that, always meant to be this.
Perhaps all the broken windows are laughing. They are a fallacy, unintended consequences of choices. Choices I did not make. Or did I?
Did those decisions make everything better? Is anything better? Rebuilding doesn't make a stronger wall, repairs in the cracks leak and crumble.
How much better would it be if windows were never shattered? How much stronger the wall if never torn down? What would life be if choices hadn't impaired it?
