My Actifit Report Card: November 8 2022 - We are alive challenge climbing the castle - IAAC #198

A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.

A magnificent sunny day emerges on the Gulf of Naples. Clouds layer at high altitude and gray clouds that form above the hood of high pressure decorate the unmistakable blue sky of the capital of Naples.

After cleaning up the house and having lunch I put on sneakers and I headed towards Naples. I came to the Metro station 1 in the center of the magnificent Via Toledo.

Just after the first block I took a great picture of this renovated building with decorations representing men engaged in hard work.

Via Toledo emerges in the real Piazza Plebiscito that I circumnavigated today to take some panoramic photos.

I have to practice a little more and study how to make them come straight! LOL!

At the end of the tour of the immense and wonderful square I turned towards the promenade and then right again to walk along Via Santa Lucia a famous elegant street full of pizzerias and restaurants very characteristic and masterful cuisine.

The road leads to the legendary Castel dell'Ovo (egg castle).

The castle is so called because the great Virgil, mythical Roman poet, claimed that his lintel was resting on an egg with magical virtues that was able to keep the whole building intact.

Today I take you to climb the imposing yellow tuff castle and the staircase is all in a smooth but tiring climb.

When I get to the top of the castle I look out and I find breathtaking views to see. In this photo you can see the entire promenade.

I bet you runners already imagine jogging on that endless sidewalk that you see along the sea.

The castle is flanked by the characteristic village of sailors with an enchanting marina and in this photo you can also admire the lighthouse.

In this spectacular photo of the cannons of the time you can see in the background the spectacular Certosa di San Martino sul Vomero with all the elegant upper district of the city.

The entrance to the castle is free if you want to do a tour Naples is a must see.

And on this island that the city of Naples was built and became an alive Greek colony and is also where I celebrate my iamalivechallenge 198 in full connection with the heart of my origins.

Back home after this magnificent tour I dedicate myself to preparing a beautiful pizza: cream, ham and corn that I dedicate to you friends of the "We are alive tribe".
