Why do you have border patrol aircraft there. Is that the Us/Canada border? Is there a security problem?

This is basically what they do, they patrol the US /Canadian border all the time they have been doing it for years.
This took a bit of getting used to when we first moved here, they actually have cameras on some roads, probably watching for illegal drug smuggling across the border!🙄
