Winners Are not Afraid Of Losing

Winners are not afraid of losing. They have the ability to look at bad situations with a clear head and come up with an appropriate response. Unfortunately, many "winners" also have a thick skin and the ability to bounce back from seemingly "upsets", when in reality they were never in any danger to begin with. Are you one of them? If so, I have something interesting for you: The fear of losing is just a habit.

When you grow up in a culture where losing is considered a badge of honor and failure is somehow not as bad as living without possessions or without freedom, you will naturally fear losing. You'll tell yourself over again that you can't catch your breath, you can't catch your eye of the clouds, you just can't get over this feeling of doom and despair. And, unfortunately, pretty much everyone who grows up in that culture becomes losers.

That's because the winners of our culture don't fear losing. Instead, the winners have learned how to use the fear of loss to their advantage. What they're really afraid of is the fear of losing the opportunity they've already won - the kind of opportunity that most people can only dream about.

So, what do winners do when they feel the dread of loss? They go ahead and play their most intimidating role. They win the prize for which they've long desired. In fact, the winners don't even feel the fear of losing; they instead act as if they are going to win the jackpot.

Why do winners behave like that? It's simply because, for winners, winning is the only thing that matters. It is all about having the best opportunity to succeed, regardless of the cost of that success. For losers, nothing is as important as achieving a sense of achievement; therefore, they never bother to think about the cost of success. Winners also don't have the "fear factor", which means that they never experience the fear of failure. Most losers never get around to learning how to be successful.

No matter how badly losers want to win, they rarely put it on the list of their priorities. The only time that they consider it is when they're already so close to winning it all. Winners take failure as a serious test of their ability to excel. As a result, they get over their fear of failure much faster than losers do.

Another reason why winners rarely fail is because they never lose sight of their big picture: the opportunity to excel. If they don't take the opportunity seriously, they'll never discover the enormous prize lying ahead. Sadly, most losers live in a state of fear and anxiety, which keeps them from taking an action that would help them achieve their goals. And once they miss such an opportunity, they never get back on the horse.

It's funny - the people who scare us the most are the ones who seem to love uncertainty. No matter how silly they sound, losers really do fear uncertainty. They keep looking for an "out" or some "magic secret" that will make sure they're safe from the unknown. In short, they want to control everything, even the outcome; and if they don't win, they just won't feel very good about themselves.

I can relate to this. When I first started out in the Internet marketing business, I was scared. I had no idea what to do or where to start. And I'm talking about a "surefire money making industry"! But after I took action and got my feet moving, I became an overnight sensation and soon, I was earning thousands of dollars per day.

The difference between these losers and me is that I made the mistake of letting go of my fears. You see, fear is the number one reason why most losers fail. Because they never let go of it, never try to understand it and never act upon it. That's why they never take any action and they're never successful.

I've seen many winners on the Internet. Now, I can't say I'm their favorite, but hey, they're still alive! So don't act like you're the only person on the planet who doesn't have anything better to do than join a program on the Internet. Just because someone else is doing something doesn't mean it's right for you. Take a look around at the people who are succeeding and take some of their advice. If it worked for them, then it might work for you...
