Examining your growth mindset
The goal of having a growth mindset is to view your business or any situation as an opportunity. This mindset leads to self-awareness and self-improvement. It allows you to see how you can make a positive change in the world around you. People with this mindset are constantly looking for ways to get better at whatever they are doing. Here are a few things that someone who has a growth mindset might do:
-The growth mindset person looks at the issue as an opportunity, and instead of trying to fix it, the focus is on learning from the mistakes. Losing an idea or failing at an attempt to make something better is not a failure, but a learning experience. Being open to feedback can help propel one into greater competence at the next endeavor, which again is another important reason why such a person can succeed at anything they try.

Just like everything else in life, people also learn from their mistakes and grow from them. People who are afraid to take risks, or who don't like to make mistakes don't succeed in life. For example, a common mistake is not researching a concept fully before making an attempt to redefine genius. If a person were to simply read a book about the concept, and then not apply the knowledge, they would likely have a difficult time with it.

Individuals who have a fixed mindset tend to stick with only one thing, whether it's making sure that they always do the right thing, or that they always get the results that they want. Individuals who have a growth mindset, however, are adaptable to new ideas and learning new things. A fixed mindset causes an individual to resist change. This resistance often brings about failure.

Instead, they will try to make the same mistakes over again. In order to prosper and develop, people need to embrace new ideas, and stop seeking approval for every little thing they do.

If we never learn from our failures, we'll continue to make them over again. By contrast, by cultivating a growth mindset, people are less likely to make mistakes, and are more apt to take risks.
Growth mindset encourages us to do new things every day. Being afraid of failure and quitting in the face of adversity is detrimental to our productivity. By contrast, individuals who embrace a growth mentality understand that every situation requires them to test and grow. When an individual makes a mistake, they learn from it, they look at their portfolio to see what they can learn from it, and they are proactive when it comes to making changes in their work environment. They aren't afraid to try something new and different, because doing something new may help them grow and become more successful.
