Dami woke to wonder what had happened. He had lost his way quickly. He looked around, but he could only see trees. He searched himself for his phone. He had lost it as well. Dami became angry. He was sure that his phone was on him. To make things even worse, he was getting hungry.
He was shocked when he saw a rabbit with a pink apron run away into the trees.
Dami found it weird.
Because he didn't have anything else to do, he decided to follow the rabbit and for a moment he felt like Alice. It led him on a path where he found a building made from different types of clothes. He remembered his younger days when he made tents in his room with bedsheets. This was entirely something else. There was also a house made of waffles and it looked so cool but strange.
Dami could feel his stomach move. He was so hungry.
He went towards the house.
"Hello," he said.
There was no reaction, there was no response.
Dami looked at the wall of the house and wondered if it would be rude to eat someone else's wall. It would be rude if someone tried to eat another person's living space, but nibbling on the odd wall of waffles or licking it might be okay in a pinch he thought.

Dami became startled by the sound of a cackle in the air. A person in a dark cloak leapt into the space between the two buildings. He couldn't make out who or what was behind the cloak covering the entire face. To the back of this person was his phone locked up a transparent huge box.

He yelled, "Hey!" The cloaked person looked at him but he could not see the eyes or any part of his face. "That is my phone!"Dami cried out.

His grunt gave him away that he was a man.

The man shrugged his shoulders.
I need my phone Dami cried out. Help me!
The man said, "Never!"
I need to get out of here, Dami thought and his phone was his escape. At least he will get to know where he is.

There were 2 white rabbits running across the green field that caught Dami's attention. Dami could recall seeing a white rabbit with an apron but now there are 2 of them. Then he saw the man's eyes, it was bright.
He said, Hello.
Dami became still as he heard his voice.
Again he said hello
What do you want?

I want to go home. I need my phone, it is right there.
The man shook his head while repeating the word - home. Your phone is going to stay with me, he said.

Dami felt helpless. He could tell he needed to give something or do something in return for his phone.

The man said to him. Do you want to trade?

Trade! Dami exclaimed.

Then he said to Dami, Having fun is what I like to do. I would like to have some fun. He laughed hysterically.

If you can eat the house of waffles then I will give you back your phone. What he was asking for is insane, Dami thought.

Then he heard one of that rabbit speak, saying eating one house of waffle is an easy task. Eating 2 is the real challenge. I would like to play to get his phone. Dami was getting pissed in his spirit yet he was very hungry.

Then the man said to the rabbit, no need to make it all about you. He turned to Dami then said if you eat the back door I'll let you have your phone.

Dami kept a wary eye on the back door. He didn't want rabbit to have his phone.

The two white rabbits seemed to be in a heat on contesting for Dami’s phone. He wasn’t having any of this as he could not imagine his phone in the hands of any of the rabbits.
The rabbit hopped to Dami’s side as though it was ready for a race, the other white rabbit watched. Surprisingly, the rabbit brought out huge claws ready to feast.
Then it said to him, I'm going to eat not just the door but the whole waffle house and its wall and you are going to watch me. The other rabbit cheered it on.
The white rabbit rushed the waffle house and began to eat it from the roof. He ate and continued to for much more. It became bigger and bigger as it ate the waffle house.
The rabbit started to feel unwell and it fell into the ground crying for help. The second rabbit exclaimed ‘coward’
I’ll finish this by myself. It began to eat the house
It ate grudgingly and continued for me.
The second rabbit started to get fat and feeling some weakness get sick. It cried for help and also fell to the ground.

Dami began to wonder how he would get out of there. What was going on? The question that lingered in his head all night.

The wizard was laughing and watching. Waiting for Dami to make his move. Dami kept his eyes locked on his phone.
Are you given up already?
Perhaps you will never get you phone.
Dami said, not just yet. I will give it a try. The wizard said, you don’t have to play. Give up for there is no way for you to win but to end up as the rabbits.
The wizard's voice echoed. "
You saw how the rabbits fell flat on their heavy stomach. You won't be here for very long.
Dami said, watch me.

The wizard tried to intimidate him, who claimed he lacked the desire to reclaim his phone.
Dami thought everything was strange, so he tried something new. With sticks, he built a fire. Then he set it up like a barbecue to roast every piece of waffle house he carves off. He eats after a brief roasting. While the wizard looked on, he repeated the process.
Do you believe you'll finish this, the wizard asked?

Just be patient.

Dami went on... breaking down waffles, heating them, eating them, and allowing himself to rest. He repeats the process until he has finished eating the entire house, taking his leisure.

In rage, the wizard stomped his foot. There's no way. This is unthinkable. What method did you use to do this?

Dami stated that an agreement is a deal. The wizard never contradicts himself. He didn't have a choice but to hand up his phone to him. The wizard vanished after opening the box. Dami dashed to his phone to check it. Everything was in fine working order. He attempted to use the maps, but there was no internet connection. So he tried to dial an emergency number for assistance, but his phone died.

Oh, my goodness!

When his mother woke him up for school and told him he was late, he was going to yell. You wouldn't believe what I saw in my dream, Mom.

I'm not going to believe what you will say. You have the strangest dreams all the time.

You make us imagine the mind of a child as if he were in a free association exercise with his oneiric images. lThe story reminds us of Alice in Wonderland, Henzel and Gretel, the chocolate factory.... Thanks for writing this nice story for @theinkwell, @dante31.

What a beautiful story that reveals that this child has been read many stories!
He's a smart kid who knows that only by boring the wizard will he succeed in beating him and so he takes his time. Your story made me smile, @dante31.
