A Christmas Reflection on the year - I had a chat with a friend

The Christmas season is a time of reflection, happiness and love. It was everything and more. For me, it is the time to reflect on the events of the entire year. The wins and loses. Which I term W or L.

That being said, I had a friend come over for some drinks and food. For those familiar with the festive season in Nigeria - I am talking about Jollof Rice, chicken, beef, soft drinks and beers in abundance. There was so much to eat and more including native dishes such as Amala.
If you haven't had this then you are definitely missing out on something extraordinary. It is a top tier food that I recommend.

A REFLECTION ON THE YEAR

How do you reflect on a year? what are the lessons learnt and what do you look to improve upon? For me, I take pride in focusing on wins and positivity. While being grateful for this year's wins, we talked about investment. What had been invested, the plans for investment and financial advice.
Of course, we are very close and as such I could share information some information with him.
I spoke to him about $hive and investing in $Hive.
He was happy to learn about it. While stating it would be in his plans for 2022. However, I told him the best time is now.
But I understand the challenges of investment for the average Nigerian.

Refelecting on Investments

This year we experienced a long bull run and the market has been good to the Hive community. That being said, I started the year with $Hive $STX and $CRO. Many people got into Defi projects including my friend who was navigating the crypto space. While some were making losses and regrets about going into projects that rugged.
I was happy being a diamond 💎 hand with $HIVE,$STX and $CRO.

With web 3.0 gaining more traction in the public space, the potential for investments in 2022 to go higher is a likely probability.

I spoke to him about $hive being an undervalued gem. Although the price is about $1.8 today, he should look at what the price would be in 5years time.

Being An Early Investor

One could say it's too late to be an early investor on $Hive. I'd say, there's still time to be an early investor of this undervalued gem. When the world discovers $Hive then it would be too late.

So I spoke to him about investing and staking. The options to invest in $hive is diverse including farming or saving to earn with 12% APR.

However, I spoke to him about post2earn. This got him more intrigued and amazed. It's surprising that many people haven't discovered this area of web 3.0.
The good thing is everything they are searching for or can imagine is available on the hive blockchain.

KNOWLEDGE IS BLISS

I seek to know more by reading, asking the right questions and doing my own research.
Listening is also important. I can't imagine a world without having the knowledge about $Hive.

With what I know, I share the knowledge with people enthusiastic about Crytpo and of course with people who help them shape their lives.

Living in a developing nation like Nigeria, Hive can go a long way to assist on the road to financial freedom.

LESSONS LEARNT FROM THIS YEAR

Have a target, have a goal, write it down and make it plain. Don't go with the crowd. Follow your gut and do your own research.
Don't be afraid for there is always a window to invest. Wait for your moment and take advantage of it.
