The very beginning of a new gorge
The pictures were taken in France Département Gard at the beautiful Cascades du Sautadet.
We stayed half an hour away at the Ardeche. The Ardeche has formed a huge gorge over thousands of years. We always wonder how long it will take and how it began.
Visiting the cascades and the surroundings gave us a bit of a feeling what the steady power of water can do ever the years.
