Urbex in France - Visiting abandoned labour houses - My Actifit Report Card: May 24 2024
Hey dear actifitters and readers,
While staying in the south of France we took the opportunity to visit a abandoned concrete factory.
It's a special place about industries and it's history. There is still a working concrete factory nearby.
The old factory doesn't exist anymore. But many houses with flats for the former workers are still next to the factory.
The houses are abandoned and it was to difficult for us to climb to the windows in the first floor to enter the buildings.
I few rooms were accessible for us.
All of them are recovered by nature and only some details were left.
Like the pea can and the bed.
Most of the walls are covered with graffiti.
An artist used the outside walls to made some mosaics with stones.
The most impressive is showing the last inhabitant of the little village. The lady died in 2021 after living here for 75 years.
