Visiting Christkindlmarkt in Munich - My Actifit Report Card: December 09 2023
Hey dear actifitters and readers,
It's almost Christmas time and many activities right now are about Christmas.
During my stay last week in Munich I visited the Christkindlmarkt at Marienplatz.
My hotel was only 15min away from the Christmas market and it was a nice walk through the iluminated town.
I passed many market stalls selling mulled wine, chestnuts and roasted almonds.
When I arrived at Marienplatz a trombone choir was playing Christmas songs from the balcony of the town hall.
It's the same place were Bayern Munich celebrates the win of the German Bundesliga in football almost every year.
So it was interesting to this famous balcony in a totally different setting.
On my way back I took the same street towards Stachus.
It smelled great at all the stalls with the different products. I didn't buy any goods ot the market and went to a supermarket to get some food.
If you like Christmas and. Christmas markets than Munich would be worth a visit in December.
