Match day in 1st German Volleyball league - My Actifit Report Card: November 26 2023
Hey dear actifitters and readers,
my torn ankle alignment don't let me play volleyball for another two weeks. But it can't stop me watching live volleyball ✌️
It was matchday in the first German volleyball league again. We had a ticket for the derby with Karlsruhe.
The match was sold out already a week ago and the venue was crowded. When I arrived people were queuing at the entrance.
I arrived half an hour before the starting whistle and was. lucky as friends saved a good seat for me.
It's a great atmosphere before the match and introduction of the home team is coming with a light show.
I didn't notice that one of our middle blockers didn't appear during the intro.
Our home team started with an ace like in the last three matches.
But that was almost the best about the whole match. The team couldn't compensate the absence of the middle blocker.
The opponents made strong pressure with their serves and made the game very hard for our home team. The receiver struggled with the balls and made it difficult for the setter to deliver good balls to the attackers.
Finally it was a clear 0:3 loss against strong opponents.
After the match the youth players entered the court and played some balls.
I was talking with friends about the reasons.
