Three Games, Three Tracks - Pt. 13
Part thirteen is here! I've got a bonus 4th of July themed game tonight! Independence Day in the USA has it's own unique energy to it that's for sure. It's like an adrenaline rush feeling. It takes place practically dead center of the calendar year and it feels like the true center of the warm months of spring and summer combined. It's like the half way point of life. The weather is perfect, everything feels possible. It also happens to be the birthday of the country I was born and raised in and love, the United States of America! Fireworks are currently going bananas around me, and it will be doing so for many more hours still. These fireworks companies must make an absolute killing during these weeks of the year.
First song of the night is a rap song that feels confident, catchy and charismatic. It's called 'walk on water freestyle' by Scrim. I think it matches the vibe of Independence Day in many ways!
Darkside by Desire is definitely a bit out of left field when it comes to my style. But I heard this playing 2K the other day and I was feeling it! Great gaming song to vibe to.
father, hold me is another one by Scrim. This one is darker but very introspective and oddly smooth and catchy. I like the very monotone tone Scrim uses in contrast to the outstanding sample and beat. Very nice song!
My random video of the day is Tier Zoo's 'How Humans Broke the Game'. Many average YouTube surfers have seen this one but on the off chance you haven't or you haven't seen it in awhile, I suggest it either way! I watched it again for the first time in years and it really is brilliant. Crazy how videos like this can imprint in your mind sometimes. Such a cool blend of information and art and just fun.
When in doubt, play some chess.
